"Lights, Camera, RELAY!!!"

With a kickoff celebration at the Claremont Presbyterian Church on November 18th the 2009 season of the DeKalb Adams Relay For Life has been opened.
The Relay will be held at Adams Stadium on Friday, May 15 - Saturday, May 16 from 7 pm to 7 am.
In 2008 we have had over 1,500 participants and we raised more than $510,000 in the fight against cancer.
Relay for Life is the signature event of the American Cancer Society and the largest nonprofit fundraiser in the world. Relay For Life is....One day. One night. One community: By participating in the Dekalb/Adams Relay, you honor cancer survivors, pay tribute to lives lost to the disease, and raise money to help fight it.
Much more than a walk around a track, Relay is a time to celebrate those who have battled cancer, remember those lost and get inspired to fight back. Those who have shared the same experience find common ground, hope and healing at Relay. By participating, you have the power to continue the American Cancer Society's progress toward a future where cancer doesn't take the lives of our friends and family.
